Israel experienced the wonder-working power of God time and again! The same God who had parted the Red Sea now parted the Jordan for them to cross over on dry ground! Not only did Israel experience these wonders, but the enemies of Israel also heard about them as well!

These miracles were not something they were to leave in the past, they set up rocks from out of the midst of the Jordan river as a testimony to what the Lord had done. This would be something they could share with their children and their children’s children pointing to those stones and declaring the miracle that God had done for His people! Christian, your testimony matters! The church ought to share their testimonies with one another and bear witness to the wonder-working power of God! Our children need to hear what God has done, is doing, and what we believe by faith that He will do for those who believe!
